Our congregation is active in service to one another and to our local and global community.  Here are some of the ways in which we seek to serve:

+  We prepare care packages for local organizations that serve people who are homeless or survivors of domestic violence.  We also gather school supplies, baby layettes, and disaster relief supplies as needs arise.

+  We support a variety of local programs, including Oregon-Brooklyn Food Pantry, Neighbors in Need of Assistance, the Helping Hands Fund, Porchlight, and Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS).

+  We support the Global Mission programs of the PCUSA. We also seek to support our global mission partners through prayer, study, and inviting mission workers to be guest speakers when they are visiting nearby.

+  We support the Special Offerings program of the PCUSA.  Included in these are the Christmas Joy offering for church workers in need, as well as our racial-ethnic schools and colleges; One Great Hour of Sharing (at Easter); the Pentecost Offering for youth ministries and to help children at risk; and the Peacemaking Offering for World Communion Sunday.

+  We go out to serve on Mission Trips.  In the past, we've done disaster relief for hurricanes and tornadoes, built or fixed houses, worked in urban settings, and have traveled to Appalachia to help with a variety of projects. In October 2016, four of our members joined with members of First Presbyterian of Waunakee for a trip to Guatemala.
